I remember a friend of a friend would brag about her boyfriend on Facebook..she had no problem letting her timeline know how much he "loved" and "spoiled" her. Well..I guess that was her way of trying to save face because he was the complete opposite IRL! He was a homosexual, lacked ambition, immature, cheap, and so on.
If you want to go around obnoxiously boasting about your man to your girls or the world please make sure he's brag-worthy!
